About Us

Camellia House and Crest and Wave Surf apartments are owned and run by the Townsend family. Having started off in the insurance business, Adrian Townsend built up the biggest independent insurance agents in North Wales. Running successfully for many years, he had a change of direction resulting in the purchase of mutiple holiday parks across North Wales and Cheshire developing them into modern family friendly parks.

Many years later in 2006 Adrian and his son Gareth bought Lloyds Caravans. The family business, along with its trusted advisers, continues to offer a warm, friendly and knowledgeable service that they are famous for.

In 2022 and with a rich history spanning over a decade in the tourism sector, Gareth bought Plas Bodegroes in Pwllheli, Camellia House in Abersoch and 19 The Groves in Chester with a view to offer a country manor experience, a beach view luxury holiday accomodation and a riverside city retreat.

The Townsend family pride themselves on providing top-notch hospitality for those seeking relaxing family retreats. Whether you’re looking to unwind in the coastal decor ambiance or enjoy outdoor dining, our properties are designed to make your stay unforgettable.
